The Meaningful Travel Summit is Tourism Cares’ legacy program, connecting industry professionals with local changemakers across the globe. By coming together in-destination, we actualize the power of travel. The goal of the Meaningful Travel Summit is to learn from one another, infuse more sustainability into our businesses, and immerse ourselves within host communities. Program Overview The Summits focus on educating attendees about global topics that impact us all, such as climate change, sustainability, and equity and inclusion, providing them with the tools and resources to apply these learnings to their businesses. At the conclusion of the program, we encourage attendees to make commitments and support them in realizing these commitments long-term. Meaningful Travel Summits also involve hands-on experiences, including tours and meaningful travel experiences organized with local partners.
